Are the sizes related to how often something is posted? Or just so everything could fit?
Size essentially means nothing. I mean, look at Japan as a real world example. Super crowded, but small compared to Australia.

I kind of regret dropping Modern Philosophy last winter term. I liked it sufficiently more than I do Detective Fiction. Both have ridiculous amounts of reading. But I could have at least paired it with Environmental Philosophy.
This is why the Environmental Studies program needs to be more acknowledged, because this university is too small (ie: fewer classes) to fulfill general education...
